............................................................................................... Developing service concepts for high profile retail chain

Client: Magasin | Award: € 2,000 | Deadline: Closed

At your service: Develop original, creative, fresh, possibly even experimental service concepts that strengthen Magasin’s position as being innovative and support its historical reputation for fair prices and excellent service in a luxury department store.

Magasin is a Danish department store chain with 6 stores across Denmark and an online shop, recently bought by the UK-based department store Debenham. The Magasin brand is strong and has a long tradition going back to 1868 of bringing fair prices and good service to the luxury market.
Magasin has more than 500 international brands within its product portfolio, 20 million visitors annually, and is considered the leading department store in Scandinavia.
For more information about Magasin, please have a look at
our site.

We are looking for innovative ideas for service concepts, which are in line with the Magasin brand, but push it towards innovation and creativity.
Magasin was founded on offering excellent products at great prices, and over the years the Magasin brand name has become synonymous with quality, value, service and trust.
Over the last years, however, we have focused more and more on innovation, and understanding what customers really need and want. And we now want to find more innovative ways to deliver it.
Today we already offer several service concepts:
- Personal shoppers for women was introduced a few years ago and personal shoppers for men was introduced in 2009. Both concepts have been highly successful.
- Magasin Goodiecard gives +120.000 cardholders special benefits/invitations
- Magasin has the best return policy with 30 days return rights

We are specifically looking for new service concepts to add to this list, but that are truly innovative: original, unusual, possibly even experimental and revolutionary, creative and fresh, but still in line with our brand and position.

It is paramount that the concept is easy to implement, and has a strong “hands-on approach”.

We are looking for submissions that communicate your idea concisely and clearly. Help us quickly understand key points, and please send the following for each concept you submit:

1 Detailed description of your service concept, addressing issues as:
a. Idea: How would you describe the idea behind your service concept? How is it innovative? How is it a good fit for the Magasin brand and a complement to our other service offers?
b. Execution: How is the concept to be implemented? Please provide as much information as possible about deliverables, process, equipment, look, communication etc.
c. Other information: You are welcome to include other information that helps us get a better understanding of your concept, including visuals/ photos/ videos/ drawings. Please add a description for anything you include.

2 Please submit in line with the
Boblr™ Format & Submission Standards

3 Intellectual Property, Legal: We are interested in any intellectual property information regarding possible patents, trademarks, copyrights, etc. This includes IP you own or that others own that might present a conflict.

You can submit as many concepts as you like. You must submit a separate description for each concept. Entry is free.

When you are ready to upload files, please use our Webcargo service and simply click on the button and follow the instructions. No need for usernames or passwords, and files will be securely encrypted when sending.

Please note that by submitting your Solution, you accept the Boblr™ Terms and Conditions

We are looking for the best ideas, and if several ideas stand out of the crowd, we want to reward more winners. Each will receive a one-time payment of € 2,000

We are looking for creative concepts that stand out when judged on these criteria:
• Innovative: original, unusual, possibly experimental and revolutionary, creative and fresh
• Consistent: in line with our brand and position, as listed above
• Affordable: price vs perceived value
• Legal issues and intellectual property
