Recently Danfoss has developed
a recruitment concept and your challenge is to help us suggest innovative creative ideas for using social media in Danfoss recruitment. Our goal is:

To make the Danfoss recruitment concept visible and to make as many candidates aware of Danfoss as possible. Candidates should be informed about Danfoss or at least know that they can find out about Danfoss and request additional information.

We are looking for several ideas, which:
- Are in line with the Danfoss brand
- Will be given a high profile by means of social media tools (Facebook, Twitter etc.) and communities
- Sensitize as many candidates possible to the Danfoss recruitment concept
- Get people to talk about and commit themselves to the Danfoss promise
- Target a broad group of ‘engaged and talented people’ (Both: engineers and economists, with either some work experience or newly graduated, globally, but primarily in China, the US and Denmark / And: blue-collar workers in China)
- Are global, but could be adapted locally while still supporting the Danfoss brand

It is paramount that the ideas are original and not just ‘text book’ usage of common social media tools. We want to be challenged and are eager to be surprised by innovative ways and ideas – in terms of using communities and untraditional social media or using more traditional social media (as Facebook, Linked-In and Twitter) but in a fresh, creative and effective way.

To help us quickly understand your submission, please submit the following:

1 A single-page executive summary of the submission

2 Detailed description of your idea, addressing issues as:
a. Idea: What’s the idea? What social media is used? How it is innovative? How is it a good fit for the Danfoss brand?
b. Execution: How is the idea to be implemented? Please provide as much information about process, look, text, timing etc.
c. Other information: You are welcome to include other information that helps us get a better understanding of your idea, including visuals/ photos/ videos/ drawings. Please add a description of anything you include

3 Intellectual Property, Legal: We are interested in any intellectual property information regarding possible patents, trademarks, copyrights, etc. This includes IP you own or that others own that might present a conflict.

4 Please submit in line with the

You can submit as many ideas as you like, and you will have a chance to win more awards. You must submit a separate summary and description for each idea. Entry is free.

€ 3.000. Danfoss reserves the right to refuse appointment of a winner in case the submission does not match expectations. Also, Danfoss might offer a fee up to € 3.000 for acquiring rights to part of the submissions.


We are looking for more ideas that stand out when judged on these criteria:
• Innovative: Original, unusual, daring, creative and fresh usage of traditional or untraditional social media
• Effective: Is it obvious that the idea will get lots of people to talk about and commit themselves to Danfoss in a positive way
• Consistent: Is the idea in line with the Danfoss brand
• Global: Can the idea be used globally with some local adaptation, but still support our brand and not compromise it
